March 19th
  • 4 PM: Doors open with vendors and sponsors
  • 5 PM: Panel on NIL deals, financial literacy, social media branding, and inspiration from community leaders
  • 6:30 PM: Photo ops with local basketball legends, agents, and FLYTY from the Charlotte Hornets & 101.9FM. Family fun, vendors, and community sponsors
  • 7 PM: Dunk (boys) and 3-point contest (girls/boys)

The Wisdom Foundation Business of Basketball High School Basketball Showcase Invitational Tournament accommodates up to 1100 attendees and is hosted by LABCITY on March 19-20, 2025, in Charlotte, NC.

Doors open at 4 pm with the Kick-off on March 19th at 5 pm at the Symposium with topics including: NIL, Social Media Branding & Financial Literacy designed for students, parents/caregivers, and coaches.

This year, the Business of Basketball focuses on emotional well-being and honors those community members impacting the community's well-being.
Information about the Honorees: 
Herb Gray is being recognized for his contributions to Behavioral Healthcare, community contributions, and philanthropic efforts.
Gregory Jackson is being recognized for his work with HEAL Charlotte. This place-based organization aims to revitalize the community by providing housing stability, violence prevention, after-school programs, and community events protecting the community's overall well-being.
BJ Murphy is being recognized for his work with We Are One Charlotte. A program that supports communities with high crime rates. The program's cornerstone is helping the community process the emotional impact of traumatic events.
